Religion is the salvation of humanity
First of all I advise myself and you worshipers to observe divine piety.
Religion has come to us to make a true human and it should brought success and happiness to mankind. Religion wants people not to get stuck and get rid of the stalemate of the world. God, through His prophets, gave us a set of commands so that humans would not be depressed and helpless. Religion has come to save human beings from emptiness and to make their life easier. God sent religion through His prophets so that no one would say on the day of Resurrection:
يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
That let no one regret in the resurrection and say that we wish we had been friends with the Prophet and we were going on his way!
As a doctor instructs for the health of the body, the religious orders are for the health of the soul. The bitterness of a doctor’s medicine is for sweetness of the cure. The difficulty of some religious orders are the results of one’s spiritual vitality and the health of one’s soul and peace. A doctor’s razor makes a disease go out of a patient’s body, the Qurans threats and some of the verses in it are because it wants to make true human.
Now, if all the people of the world disbelieve, God will not be harmed. Just as if all patients of one doctor do not follow the instructions and prescription, that doctor would not be harmed.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ لَن يَضُرُّوا اللَّـهَ شَيْئًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Indeed, those who bought disbelief in cost of faith will never harm Allah, and for them there is a painful doom. If all students do not learn and study, the teacher will not be harmed and it has nothing to do with teacher’s academic degrees. If the teacher screams study and learn, he does this for the students. If God says in the Quran:
إن تَنصُرُوا اللَّـهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ
If you help God, he will help you.
No one should take it personal that god doesn’t help me. He is needless and we need him. If it says:
من ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّـهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا
God does not need anyone. The whole world is his. Or when he says: I remember you if you remember me; we need to remember him; God does not need us to remember.
All of this is because the benefit of it comes back to us and we need it. The patient is in need of medication. The doctor does not need the patient to take the medication.
Those who are mentally ill, people who are depressed or obsessed, or who feel guilt or emptiness; despite having a good financial situation, having a family, but not having peace and joy and suffering from depression and anxiety, the two last verses of Surah Al-Hajj is a good help for them:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ (77)
جَاهِدُوا فِي اللَّـهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ هُوَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِن قَبْلُ وَفِي هَـٰذَا لِيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِاللَّـهِ هُوَ مَوْلَاكُمْ فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ (78)
O you who believe! Kneel, and prostrate, and worship your Lord, and do good deeds, so that you may succeed.
And strive for God, with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you, and has not burdened you in religion—the faith of your father Abraham. It is he who named you Muslims before, and in this. So that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and you may be witnesses over the people. So pray regularly, and give regular charity, and cleave to God. He is your Protector. What an excellent Protector, and what an excellent Helper.
Here is a brief explanation of these two verses: God has given some key commandments to humans in these two verses. Here are a few tips to succeed and overcome mental illnesses and five solutions. If you do, you will be selected. You go up and reach the highest. And of course he says we do not want to bother you with religion. It is for your own benefit. Those of you who believe in these five solution will be chosen.
1-Pray before God. 2 Bowing to God. Why not pray (salat) ? Because these two things are the basis of salat. Someone came to prophet of God and said I have done a sin. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) told him to bow a lot in front of God. Why, because bowing is the closest closest situation to God.
3- Do God’s servitude. This is a general citation. Prayer and bowing are special sacrament and servitude is general. Of course, it also points out that worship is not limited to prayer and fasting. That means, O believer, only serve God. Don’t do sins. There is a great number of verse and narration about servitude. An example of this hadith from Imam Ali (AS) which states:
أفضل العبادة غلبة العادة
The best worship is to overcome (bad) habits.
For example, if someone has obsessive-compulsive disorder, he should practice to overcome it. Someone who is bad-tempered should practice quitting bad-tempered. Someone who speaks bad must practice to give up this habit. Someone who doesn’t do his prayer should practice to do them early. According to Imam Ali, All of these are considered as Worship.
We ask God to grant us the blessings of worship and servitude and to follow the instructions of religion and to make us one of the elect.
