The sixth sign of the righteous:

And moderation at the same time needlessly.

Moderation, while being rich and needless, means that man should be in possession of his wealth and money, not to be by possession of wealth and rich.

Owning a lot does not require spending a lot. Whoever has the authority over his wealth and wealth, no matter how rich he becomes, will never again be in vain. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has attributed three attributes to the destruction of man, and three attributes to the salvation of man:

Three things are perishing and three things a savior;

But the perishings are: obeying and appearing a covetousness that is inside a men and following one’s bad desires; and being self-sufficient and magnifying himself;

But the saviors are: to be feared from God, to be modest in poverty and needless, and to be content with justice and unhappiness.

Observing moderation in need and richness is a difficult task that comes from pious people. According to the Holy Quran, human nature is in such a way that it arises in a state of needlessness, though it is not a real needlessness, and man is not really in need, but the same feeling of being in need makes him rebellion. Holly Quran says:

In fact, man oversteps all bounds. When he considers himself exempt.

The revolt of human by the sense of needlessness is so alarming that some scholars consider morality, poverty, and material necessity better for human well-being, and say:

Absolutely, poverty is better than richness for all people.

Proper distribution of wealth, of course, makes wealth in society exceptional and scarce, and eliminates wealth and pests of it, so equitable and fair distribution of wealth is a duty on the part of social statesmen, both for the sake of social justice and for the enjoyment of all Citizens of the public, as well as for the development of ethical conduct and the prevention of personal and social mischief.

The believers, are modest while they are rich, and gentle and respectful, at the time of poverty and need. Some believe that the pursuit of wealth is against individualism and dignity.

In the logic of Islam, it is desirable and necessary to earn a halal money to satisfy the needs of life. There are many narratives of Ahl al-beyt and the Prophet (pbuh) in encouraging us to have a halal incoming. The Prophet, peace be upon him, says:

Anyone who works hard for his family is like a mujahideen in the way to God.

God Almighty would like to see his servant tired of seeking halal.

The most important thing in earning  halal is that the business itself being Halal. Anyone who strives to make a halal incoming is sure that God will provide it for him. You have to work hard and work hard, but besides work and effort you have to seek God. Anyone who relies on God and works for a halal solution will never have the psychological distress and anxiety, for him it is certain that one day he will achieve the righteousness. Ahl al-beyt in the prayers of Ramadan have taught us to pray to God:

O God! I ask you to give me faith that you may come into my heart through that faith and purify my heart, and I ask  you that I know that no harm will come to me except what you have predestined for me, and that you will satisfy and satisfy me with the life you have ordained for me.

Seeking a haram work means suspicion of God. Couldn’t god give me my incoming from a halal way so that Im seeking for a haram incoming ? Along with the hard work and effort, one should always ask God for the prayer that the Amir al-Mu’minin quotes from the Holy Prophet :

O God, with a halal incoming stop me from earning haram, and with your bounty make me needless from any one exepct you.
